Come join us at our “virtual lemonade stand”!

As millions of children have headed back to school this fall, too many of them are struggling. Not to make good grades or make good friends, but to survive the daily challenges of living with a deadly disease.

September is National Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month, and iLivediLoved wants to get involved. We fell in love with Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, and it’s easy to see why. Here’s some information about the foundation we gleaned from their website and Facebook page.


About Alex

Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation emerged from the front yard lemonade stand of cancer patient Alexandra “Alex” Scott (1996-2004). At the age of 4, Alex announced that she wanted to hold a lemonade stand to raise money to help find a cure for all children with cancer. Since Alex held that first stand, the Foundation bearing her name has evolved into a national fundraising movement.




What our donations will fund
Donating to Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation helps bring life-changing and life-saving treatments to children with cancer. To date, Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) has funded more than 200 research projects at more than 50 institutions.  In addition, ALSF is able to provide financial and educational resources to families.

“We are unique in our approach to funding childhood cancer research—working directly with doctors, researchers and nurses to identify the specific challenges they face in bringing new treatments to and caring for children with cancer. Our careful distribution of grants has allowed doctors and nurses to speed up the process of bringing the latest and most promising life-saving treatments to seriously ill children. The result—bringing hope to childhood cancer patients now and in the future.”


Helping children one cup at a time
Every year, thousands of volunteer fundraisers all across the country raise millions of dollars to help find a cure for childhood cancer by holding lemonade stands and fundraising events of all kinds.
